4-step and besstupenchaty automatic transmissions (ат and cvt) General information The present Head the Box of gear shifting is devoted 4-step and to besstupenchaty automatic transmissions (to AT and CVT). On the Civic models 4-step AT of three types are used: A4RA, B4RQ and A4RA, and also besstupenchaty CVT of the M4VA type. The Integra models are equipped with 4-step AT of the MP7A, S4HA and SP7A type. Information on manual boxes of gear shifting (RKPP) is provided in a 5-step manual box of gear shifting. Placement AT/CVT and components accompanying it in an impellent compartment of the car it is presented on an accompanying illustration below. In view of complexity of designs of AT and CVT, absence on free sale of replaceable internal components, and need of use of the special equipment, originators of the real Management do not recommend to owners of cars to carry out major maintenance of transmission by own forces. Sometimes, in case of serious breakage, it appears to replace transmission more reasonably, than to waste time and funds for restoration failed. Regardless of the chosen way of introduction of the refused transmission in action, independent performance of its removal and installation will help to cut down substantially expenses.
