Assembly of a head of cylinders

Regardless of that, the head went to a workshop for carrying out service of valves, or not, before starting its assembly, once again carefully check purity of all components.

After head return from a workshop in it valves with accompanying components will be already established. In this case it is necessary to omit procedures of the following five paragraphs and at once to pass to the actions described in paragraph 7.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. First of all establish on directing plugs of valves of a saddle of their springs (see an accompanying illustration).

Stop a cap zastukivaniye right after that as it completely "will sit down" on the plug – further blows can lead to rubber damage. Track, that caps did not appear are overwound on plugs.

2. Put on each of directing plugs a new maslootrazhatelny cap. Caps (inlet and final valves) "are put" by Maslootrazhatelnye on the directing plugs by a careful zastukivaniye.

Maslootrazhatelnye caps of inlet and final valves differ on a standard size and are marked with a color code (see an accompanying illustration) – do not mix them.

3. Moving from one end of a head to another, grease with molibdensoderzhashchy or assembly impellent greasing the first valve and plant it in a head. A core of the valve grease with pure impellent oil.

4. Plant on a core klapanny springs and their plate (see an accompanying illustration). The special tool compress springs, having lowered a plate, then establish in the opened flute on a valve core crackers of the cutting lock.

Springs are established to Klapannye by rounds with the reduced step to a head.

5. For the purpose of temporary fixing of crackers to an otpuskaniye of the tool grease them from the inside with dense greasing (see an accompanying illustration).

6. Repeat procedure for the remained valves. Watch that all components were established strictly on the former places.

7. By means of a noniusny calliper check adjusting height of cores of valves (distance from a saddle of springs to a face surface of a core of the valve) (see an accompanying illustration). If repair of a head was made in a car-care center workshop, this parameter already will be adjusted properly. If the result any of measurements exceeds admissible value according to Specifications, replace the corresponding valve and repeat check. If replacement of the valve does not lead to situation correction, therefore the saddle of the valve is too deeply planted in a head and the last is subject to replacement.

8. With assembly impellent greasing grease working surfaces of yokes of a drive of valves, cams and camshaft necks (ов) and axes of yokes. Establish in a head a camshaft (ы) and assemblies of yokes (see. A part engine Repair without extraction from the car - the Civic models of the present Chapter).
