Removal and installation of a radiator and broad tank of system of cooling
Removal Radiator
|
|
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
|
|
If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action! |
2. Cock the parking brake and prop up back wheels protivootkatny boots. To Poddomkratta a car front also establish it on props. At the corresponding complete set remove the antispray screen of a radiator.
3. Empty cooling system (see. Head Routine maintenance). If replacement of cooling liquid was made recently, keep for further use.
4. On models from AT disconnect from a radiator of the line of a path of cooling of ATF. Prepare for collecting spilled liquid.
5. Disunite the socket (ы) fan electroconductings (ов).

6a. Release collars and disconnect from a radiator the top hose (see accompanying illustrations). |

|
6b. Disconnect from a radiator the bottom hose. If hoses "became attached" to connecting branch pipes, use nippers, or a knife (with the subsequent replacement of hoses). |
7. Remove the fan (ы) (see. Check of a condition of the fan (ов) systems of cooling and chain of its inclusion; fan replacement (ов)).

8. To Otboltita also remove small arms of fastening of the upper edge of a radiator to a bearing beam (see an accompanying illustration). |
9. Carefully take a radiator from an impellent compartment. Try not to spill cooling liquid on the painted body panels and do not cut fingers about sharp plates of the heat exchanger.
10. After removal the radiator can be checked on existence of signs of leaks, damages and violations of internal passableness of the heat exchanger. Any repair should be made only in the conditions of a specialized workshop with use of the necessary equipment.
11. Remains of insects and vegetation can be removed from space between heat exchanger plates a way of blowing by the compressed air, or are cleaned by a soft brush. Try not to bend thin plates of the heat exchanger and not to cut about them fingers.

12. Check a condition of rubber support of a radiator, in case of need make replacement. |
|
Installation
|
|
1. Installation is made upside-down. Track correctness of placement of rubber pillows of support of the lower part of a radiator.
2. On completion of installation fill in in system an antifreeze mix with water of demanded structure (see. Head Routine maintenance).
3. Start the engine and check it on existence of signs of leaks. Warm up the engine to normal working temperature (both hoses of a radiator should become hot to the touch). Check level of cooling liquid, in case of need add the corresponding quantity of a mix.
4. On models from AT check ATF level, in case of need add. |

Broad tank
|
|
1. The broad tank of system of cooling is located near a radiator in the right forward corner of an impellent compartment.
2. Walk on a perelivny hose from a radiator mouth to the top part of a broad tank. Uncover together with the hose connected to it. Remove a tank, having pulled it vertically up and having liberated from basic arms.
3. Merge cooling liquid from a broad tank in the prepared capacity.
4. Wash out a tank and check it on existence of cracks and other damages. In case of need make replacement. Wash up a tank outside warm water with soap and a brush – level of the liquid which was in it should be read easily through translucent walls.
5. Installation is made upside-down. |
