Condition check, replacement and adjustment of the sensor switch of disconnection of a chain of a starter

1. The sensor switch of disconnection of a chain of a starter is located near the top end of a pedal of coupling (see an illustration). To the sensor switch two wires, one – from the relay of inclusion of the starter, by the second – are brought to weight. At an ignition key povorachivaniye in the situation START and squeezing of a pedal of coupling, at the expense of sensor switch operation, there is a short circuit on mass of the relay of a starter that leads to activation of the electromotor of the last.
2. If the engine is not turned at the squeezed-out pedal of coupling, it is necessary to make sensor switch adjustment (see below Adjustment), then to repeat attempt. If adjustment does not help to achieve desirable result, check a sensor switch condition (see paragraph 3) and in case of need replace the last (see below Replacement).
3. If when squeezing a pedal of coupling the engine is not turned, therefore, or conductivity between sensor switch plugs is broken, or on the last a food from the starter relay does not move.
4. Check serviceability of giving of a food by means of the voltmeter or a lamp sampler. At an ignition key povorachivaniye in the situation START and pedal squeezing on a wire going from the relay of a starter tension should take place. If tension is absent, check on break electroconducting between the relay and the sensor switch. If a food moves regularly, check tension existence from the opposite side of the sensor switch (at the squeezed-out pedal of coupling). Tension existence from both parties of the sensor switch confirms serviceability of its functioning. Try to make adjustment (see below Adjustment). In the absence of tension replace the sensor switch. |

Replacement

| 1. Disunite the electroconducting socket, weaken an adjusting nut and turn out the sensor switch from the arm. Installation is made upside-down. |

Adjustment
|
|
| 1. Weaken a lock-nut and, rotation of the sensor switch achieve conductivity existence between its plugs at the squeezed-out pedal of coupling. |
