Removal, installation and adjustment of provision of doors

Doors of the car have nachitelny weight therefore it will be reasonable to secure with the help of the assistant.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Completely lower glass, then disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Open a door against the stop and prop up it a jack, or wooden whetstones.
3. Remove the panel of an internal upholstery and the water filter (see. Removal and installation of an internal upholstery of doors).
4. Mark and disunite all electric sockets, then liberate electroconducting from clamps on door assembly.
5. From a door separate laid between it and a body a rubber directing tube. Take the plait of electroconducting passed through directing tube and remove it from a door.

6. Beat out the central pin of a door emphasis (see an accompanying illustration).

7. Lead round loopy levels a marker, having marked situation them on a door.

8. Ask the assistant to take a door and give bolts of fastening of loopy levels (see an accompanying illustration). Together remove a door from the car.

9. Installation is made upside-down.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Correctness of an arrangement of a door in a body aperture has critical value from the point of view of serviceability of functioning of door assembly. First of all to estimate size люфта axial fingers of door loops. Completely open a door and pull it up-down. If люфт doors are exceeded by 1.6 mm, it is necessary to replace loops.

2. For performance of correction of a door in an aperture weaken bolts of fastening of loops on a car body (see an accompanying illustration). It is possible to consider a door established truly when in a closed position its upper edge appears it is parallel to a cut of a roof of the car; the first line (back at a back door) doors thus should appear aflush with a wing surface, and bottom – with the threshold plane. If to achieve an objective simple shift of a door it is not possible, it is necessary to pick up adjusting washers of the necessary thickness. Washers are enclosed under loopy levels (both on a body, and on a door) and can be acquired in shops of automobile accessories.

3. Serviceable operation of the locking mechanism can achieve by correction of position of the drummer of the lock in the vertical direction (see an illustration below). For an assessment of size of shift lead round a plate of the basis of the drummer a marker. Weaken fixture and make necessary adjustment – the latch should enter into gearing with the central part of the drummer.

4. In summary adjust position of the drummer in the horizontal direction, – the closed door should appear aflush with a surface of the rack/panel of a back wing and regularly be locked thus (see an accompanying illustration).
