Check of serviceability of a condition and replacement of the detector of control of electric loadings (ELD) The ELD system reveals signs of an overload of electric chains of systems of external lighting and alarm devices, injection of fuel, a charge etc. The first symptom of such overloads is violation of stability of giving of a food on single turns of the engine. ELD is fixed from below on the assembly block of safety locks located in an impellent compartment of the car. Check

1. Disunite the electric socket of ELD system (see an accompanying illustration). |
2. Measure tension between plugs of wires of a food (black-and-white [Civic], or black and yellow [Integra]) at the included ignition (do not start the engine) and grounding (black). The nominal rate equals to tension of the battery. If tension is absent, check an electroconducting condition on a site between the assembly block located under the dashboard, and the main assembly block in an impellent compartment.
3. Measure tension between plugs green-red (+) and black (-) wires. The nominal range lies in limits from 4.0 to 4.5 V.Pri otsutstvii of indications check electroconducting between the assembly block and ESM/RSM.
4. At the muffled engine disunite the 3-contact socket of electroconducting of ELD. Now start the engine on single turns and measure tension on the plug of a green-red wire.
5. Now include a passing beam of head headlights and consider the new indication of the voltmeter – it should appear less than 4 values measured in paragraph, otherwise replace ELD. |

Replacement New ELD in an individual order are not delivered. And therefore replacement of the detector is made complete with the assembly block. |
