Check of serviceability of a condition and replacement of the sensor switch of pressure in system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel (PSP)

The PSP sensor switch is used on the models which are let out for the market of the USA and is normally closed key. The sensor switch is switched on in the hydraulic line and located near a case of reechny transfer. At strong turns of a steering wheel (for example during a parking or at abrupt turns) pressure considerably increases in hydrostrengthening system also the PSP sensor switch, being disconnected, informs on it ESM/RSM which as appropriate lifts idling turns, compensating increasing load of the engine. Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If the engine глохнет at commission of maneuvers during a car parking, check serviceability of functioning of the PSP sensor switch. Malfunction of the sensor switch can lead as well to constantly raised turns of the engine.
2. Disconnect from the sensor switch electroconducting.

3. Connect an ohmmeter to sensor plugs (see an accompanying illustration).

5. Start the engine on single turns.
6. Bring lobbies of wheels of the car into rectilinear situation and consider the indication of an ohmmeter which in this case should be close to zero.
7. Rotating a steering wheel in any direction, watch measuring instrument indications. At approach of a steering wheel to any of extreme provisions the PSP sensor switch should be disconnected that proves to be true the infinite indication of an ohmmeter.
8. At negative results of check replace the sensor switch. If the sensor switch is serviceable, it is necessary to check settings of single turns of the engine.

Replacement

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect both wires from the battery.

The negative wire always should be disconnected first of all and be connected in the last. If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for equipment introduction in action!


2. In case of need поддомкратьте a car front also establish it on props.
3. Disconnect electroconducting from the sensor switch and turn out the last from the shtutserny connection.
4. Establish to the place of the left sensor switch replaceable and lower the car on the earth.
5. Remove from a hydraulic path of system of the steering amplifier air jams (see. Head Suspension bracket and steering). In case of need correct liquid level (see. Head Routine maintenance).
