Removal and installation RSM/ESM

The majority of models considered in the real Management are equipped with SRS system. Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid receiving traumas at its casual operation (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The module of management ESM/RSM is in car salon under the dashboard, behind the top overlay of a threshold of a forward passenger door.

Remember that the static electricity is capable to damage to bring to a processor exit out of operation. Before touching assembly, earth itself on mass of a body, use special anti-static laying for module storage.


2. Disconnect SRS (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for equipment introduction in action!


3. Unscrew a carpet, having bared assembly of the bottom panel and a part of a floor on the right under the dashboard (see. Head Body).
4. Remove the panel of the top overlay of a threshold of a passenger door, having provided with that access to module ESM/RSM.

5. Give nuts of fastening of the module of management to the arm (see an accompanying illustration).


6. Disunite electric sockets ESM/RSM.

In order to avoid processor damage ignition at shutdown/connection of electroconducting should be switched off (a key in the situation OFF).


7. Carefully remove ESM/RSM.
8. Installation is made upside-down.
