1. Check reliability of connection to the sensor of the electric socket. Estimate reliability of landing of plugs and an electroconducting condition. In case of need make the corresponding regenerative repair of a chain.
2. Make identification of electroconducting of the sensor (see an accompanying illustration). |
Color of isolation of wires can vary depending on car model (see below). |
3. For the Civic models the following color scale of electroconducting of the MAR sensor is characteristic: a) Yellow-red: food; b) Green-white: grounding; c) Red and green: a signal on ESM/RSM. 4. On the Integra 1994 and 1995 models of вып. the following coding of electroconducting of the sensor is used: a) Yellow-red: food (B18B1 engines); b) Ochroleucous: food (B18C1 engines); c) White and yellow: grounding: d) Green-white: a signal on ESM/RSM. 5. Coloring of isolation of electroconducting of the MAR sensor for the Integra models since 1996 вып.: a) Yellow-red: food; b) Red and green: signal; c) Green-white: grounding. 6. Disunite the electric socket of the sensor, without starting the engine, include ignition and measure tension between plugs of wires of a food and grounding of the socket of electroconducting. The result of measurement should make about 5 In, otherwise check an electroconducting condition, execute necessary regenerative repair. 7. Turn out fixing screws and remove the sensor from the throttle case (see an illustration above), without disconnecting from it electroconducting. 8. Connect the voltmeter between plugs of an alarm wire and a grounding wire (use the straightened writing paper clip). At the included ignition (do not start the engine) create depression in the basis of the throttle of the sensor removed from the case. About increase in depth of depression alarm tension should decrease (see the accompanying table), otherwise replace the sensor.
