Check of a condition and replacement of the sensor of fuel consumption

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a back seat (see. Head Body).

2a. At the corresponding complete set remove a protective level of a cover of access to a fuel tank (see an accompanying illustration).

2b. Uncover access the panel of a floor of the car (see an accompanying illustration).

3. Disconnect electroconducting from the block of the sensor of fuel consumption (see an accompanying illustration).

4. If the sensor fastens by means of a lock ring, use for an otdavaniye of the last a drift (see an accompanying illustration). The ring is necessary for developing so that his uvulas were combined with deepenings in the case.


For the purpose of prevention of risk of an iskroobrazovaniye use only a brass instrument.


5. Take sensor assembly from a fuel tank (see an accompanying illustration). Try not to bend the float lever.

6. Connect an ohmmeter to plugs of the socket of electroconducting (see an accompanying illustration) and measure electric resistance of the sensor. Measurement should be made at three provisions of a float corresponding to various extent of filling of a tank (empty, half filled and full). Compare results to requirements of Specifications.

7. At appreciable deviations of results of measurement from norm replace the sensor.

8. Installation is made upside-down do not forget to replace sealing laying of a cover of access to a fuel tank.
