Removal and installation of the case of a throttle

Before starting performance of procedures wait complete cooling of the engine!


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for equipment introduction in action!


2. Remove the air sleeve connecting an air purifier to the case of a throttle.
3. Disconnect electroconducting from sensors of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS) and absolute pressure in the pipeline (MAR) on the throttle case. Mark and disconnect from the throttle case vacuum hoses.
4. Disconnect from the butterfly valve lever a gas cable (see. Removal, installation and adjustment of a cable of an accelerator) and a cable of a drive of a butterfly valve in the kick-down mode (model with AT – see 4-step and besstupenchaty automatic transmissions (ат and cvt)).
5. Disconnect from the throttle case hoses of an okhladitelny path. At once закупорьте the open ends of hoses for the purpose of minimization of losses of cooling liquid.

6a. Release fixture of the case of a throttle (4 nuts [the Integra models of 1994 вып.], or two nuts and two bolts [other models]) (see accompanying illustrations). Separate the throttle case from the inlet pipeline and remove sealing laying. Carefully scratch out traces of old laying from interfaced surfaces of the case of a throttle and the delivery chamber of an air path.

6b. Fixture of the case of a throttle of a niskhodyashche-line design.

7. Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget to replace sealing laying. Fixture of the case of a throttle tighten with demanded effort. In summary make adjustment accelerator cables (see. Removal, installation and adjustment of a cable of an accelerator) and a butterfly valve drive in the kick-down mode (see 4-step and besstupenchaty automatic transmissions (ат and cvt)). Check level of cooling liquid, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment.
