On the Integra models the starter of manufacturing of the Nippondenso company with the fixed traction relay is used. In case of failure all assembly is subject to replacement. The description provided below belongs to Mitsubishi starters.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!
2. Remove a starter (see. Removal and starter installation). 3. Disconnect the big wire connecting the traction relay to the plug of the electromotor of a starter.
4. Turn out long bolts of fastening of a face cover to a reducer casing (see an accompanying illustration). Remove the case of anchor assembly.
5. Turn out fixing screws and separate a reducer casing from a forward cover of assembly (see an accompanying illustration).
6. Turn out fixing screws and separate a reducer casing from the traction relay (see an accompanying illustration).
7. Installation is made upside-down. Before assembly grease the lever of a drive and a plunzher of the traction relay with assembly greasing (see an accompanying illustration).
