Replacement of the shock-absorber or screw spring of rack-mount assembly of a forward suspension bracket

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove amortizatorny assembly from the car (see. Removal and installation of assembly of the forward shock-absorber with a screw spring or Removal and installation of assembly of the back shock-absorber with a screw spring).
2. Check the shock-absorber on existence of signs of leaks, dents, cracks and other mechanical damages. Examine a screw spring on existence of chips, cracks, prosedaniye signs, and rubber pillows of its support on existence of signs of hardening and material aging. Removal of a screw spring from amortizatorny assembly is connected with potential danger and should be made only with use of the high-quality special tool.

3. Clamp shock-absorber assembly in a vice with soft sponges (not too strongly).
4. Mark the provision of the basis of a support in relation to a spring (if the spring is replaced, in relation to dempferny assembly).

5. Following instructions of manufacturers, establish the tool for a szhimaniye of a screw spring. Tightening nuts on tool hairpins (see an accompanying illustration), compress a spring so completely to unload the support basis.

6. Remove a protective cap and give самоконтрящуюся a nut (see an accompanying illustration), holding a damper rod from a provorachivaniye a prutkovy key. Remove from the shock-absorber components of the top support, having spread out them on a pure surface it is strict as an arrangement on assembly.

7. Carefully remove from assembly the compressed screw spring and clean it in a safe place.

Do not develop the compressed spring end faces to itself!

8. Remove from a damper rod the remained components and spread out them on a workbench (as installation on assembly).
9. Rearrange on new dempferny assembly the return buffer with the plate, a dustproof casing and its plate. Extend a rod from a damper for all length of its course and pass it through established components.
10. Accurately put on assembly the compressed screw spring. Track correctness of landing of the bottom end face of a spring in the saddle.
11. Establish a rubber pillow of a saddle of a spring, the plug of a support of a rod the basis of a support of assembly, a washer of a fixing nut and new самоконтрящуюся a nut. Before tightening a nut track correctness of combination of the labels put in the course of dismantle.
12. Holding a rod from a provorachivaniye a prutkovy key, tighten самоконтрящуюся a nut with demanded effort. Release the tool for compression of a spring and remove it from assembly. Establish a protective cap.
13. Get assembly on the regular place and establish on the car (see. Removal and installation of assembly of the forward shock-absorber with a screw spring or Removal and installation of assembly of the back shock-absorber with a screw spring).
