Schedule of routine maintenance

The intervals of routine maintenance of the car stipulated in the present Section are calculated on independent performance by the owner of a vehicle of all necessary procedures. Duration of intervals was defined proceeding from the assumption of daily operation of the car. Constantly to support a vehicle in the dives of a form some of procedures at will of the owner can be carried out in more intensive mode. Originators of the real Management are sure that receiving the maximum return from the power unit of the car and its other knots and systems can achieve only under condition of a conscientious attitude of the owner to care of the vehicle. It is worth to remember as well about need of maintenance of a trade dress of the car on a case of its resale.

At car operation in the conditions of strongly dusty district, an intense city cycle (frequent short trips), and also at frequent towage of the trailer, intervals of performance of procedures of routine maintenance should be whenever possible reduced to a minimum.

Servicing of a new vehicle should be made in firm service center of the trade mission of the company manufacturer of the car in order to avoid violation of factory guarantee certificates.

Through each 400 km (250 miles) run or once a week (that will come earlier)

Check level of cooling liquid of the engine (see. Check of levels of liquids (each 400 km of run or weekly)).
Check level of liquid of washing of a windscreen (see. Check of levels of liquids (each 400 km of run or weekly)).
Check level of brake liquid (see. Check of levels of liquids (each 400 km of run or weekly)).
Check pressure of a rating of tires (see. Check of a condition of tires and pressure of their rating (each 400 km of run or weekly)).

Through each 4800 km (3000 miles) run or times in 3 months (that will come earlier)

Check PAS liquid level (see. Check of level of liquid of the power steering (each 4 800 km of run or time in three months)).
Check ATF AT/CVT level (see. Check of level of ATF AT/CVT (each 4 800 km of run or time in three months)).
Make replacement of impellent oil and the oil filter (see. Replacement of impellent oil and the oil filter (each 4 800 km of run or time in three months)).

Through each 12 000 km (7500 miles) run or times in 6 months (that will come earlier)

In addition to the checks listed in the previous subsection:

Check a condition of brushes of screen wipers, in case of need make replacement (see. Check of a condition and replacement of brushes of screen wipers (each 12 000 km of run or time in 6 months)).

Through each 25 000 km (15 000 miles) run or times in 12 months (that will come earlier)

Check serviceability of functioning and a condition of components of brake system (see. Check of brake system (each 12 000 km of run or time in 6 months)).*

Through each 48 000 km (30 000 miles) run, or times in 24 months (that will come earlier)

In addition to the checks listed in the previous subsection:

Make replacement usual (not platinum) spark plugs (see. Check of a condition and replacement of spark plugs).
Check a condition of VV of wires, covers and a distributor begunka, in case of need make replacement (see. Check of a condition and replacement of spark plugs).

Through each 60 000 km (40 000 miles) run or times in 32 months (that will come earlier)

In addition to the checks listed in the previous subsection:

Make replacement of platinum spark plugs (see. Check of a condition and replacement of VV of candle wires, covers and a distributor begunka (each 48 000 km of run or time in 24 months)).

Through each 145 000 km (90 000 miles) run or times in 72 months (that will come earlier)

Make replacement of a belt of a drive of GRM (see. Engine repair without extraction from the car - the Civic models).

* At car operation in intense conditions carry out everything the procedures marked with an asterisk through each 4800 km (3000 miles) run or times in 3 months (that will come earlier).

The intense are understood as the following service conditions:
   Strong dust content of the district;
   Trailer towage;
   Long operation of the engine on single turns/movement with low speeds;
   Low ambient temperature (below 0°С) in a combination to short trips (less than 6 km [4 miles]).

** At car operation in any of listed below conditions the procedures marked with two asterisks should be carried out through each 25 000 km (15 000 miles) (20 000 km [12 000 miles] for the models equipped with CVT) of run:

Intense city cycle at high an environment bang (from above 32°С);
Movement in the hilly or mountain district.
