Replacement of brake liquid (each 48 000 km of run or time in 24 months)

Remember that brake liquid is chemically aggressive substance and demands extra care in the address. Do not allow hit of brake liquid in eyes, on open sites of skin and the painted surfaces of the car. Besides toxicity brake liquid differs also high hygroscopicity (i.e. ability to accumulate moisture from air). Excessive moisture content of brake liquid conducts to dangerous decrease in efficiency of functioning of system. Use only fresh brake liquid, do not leave it for a long time in leaky closed container.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Replacement of brake liquid should be made regularly and in strict accordance with the schedule of routine maintenance of the car (see. Schedule of routine maintenance). In advance prepare enough of pure rags or paper towels for collecting spilled liquid. For the purpose of protection of the painted body panels located in the neighbourhood impose with GTTs rags.
2. Prepare replaceable brake liquid of a demanded grade (see. Specifications at the beginning of Head).
3. Uncover the GTTs tank.
4. The manual pump, by means of a syringe or a rubber pear pump out liquid present at the cylinder.
5. Fill in in the tank fresh brake liquid, having finished its level to the bottom cut of a jellied mouth.
6. Watching liquid level in the tank, serially pump over all four brake mechanisms (see. Head Brake system), achieving the exit beginning from gates of their pumping of fresh liquid.
7. Once again check liquid level in the GTTs tank, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment. The brake pedal should be squeezed out with firm resistance – the feeling of softness of a course is inadmissible.

Do not start at all operation of the car being absolutely sure of serviceability of functioning of brakes!
