Replacement of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove driving belts (see. Head Routine maintenance).
2. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft.
3. Remove a belt of a drive of GRM (see. Removal, check of a condition and installation of a gas-distributing belt and cogwheels of a drive of GRM).

4a. Remove a cogwheel of a cranked shaft, then internal directing a belt (see accompanying illustrations).

4b. Throw off from a shaft pin internal directing to a chain.

5. Having accurately hooked the special tool or a big screw-driver, take an old epiploon from the nest (see an accompanying illustration). Try not to leave scratches and задиров on a surface of a pin of a shaft or the case of the oil pump, – existence of similar defects will lead to fast failure of a new epiploon.

6. Clear internal surfaces of a nest under epiploon landing. Grease external edge of a new epiploon with pure impellent oil, or universal greasing. Having used as an opravka a face head of the corresponding size, or a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter, plant a new epiploon in the nest (see an accompanying illustration) the opravka should rest only against the firm external region of a face surface of an epiploon). Having planted an epiploon, make sure that the rasporny spring did not jump out of the flute.

7. Establish internal directing a gas-distributing belt and a cogwheel of a cranked shaft. Afterwards establish a gear belt (see. Removal, check of a condition and installation of a gas-distributing belt and cogwheels of a drive of GRM).
8. Grease a nave of a pulley of a cranked shaft with impellent oil or universal greasing, then plant a pulley on a shaft pin. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
9. Start the engine and check it on existence of signs of leakages of oil.
