Removal and flywheel installation / driving disk

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props. Remove a transmission (see. Head gear shifting Box).
2. On models from RKPP remove coupling assembly (see. Head of clutch and power shafts). At once check a condition of components of coupling and directing bearing.

3. Turn out bolts of fastening of a flywheel / a driving disk to a cranked shaft (see an accompanying illustration). If in the course of weakening of bolts the shaft starts to be turned, remove a starter (see. Head engine Electric equipment) also jam a screw-driver between teeths of a wreath of a flywheel (RKPP), or pass a long drift in one of openings of a driving disk, having rested it against a ledge on the block (AT).

4. Remove a flywheel / a driving disk from a cranked shaft.

The flywheel / a driving disk is rather heavy component – it will be reasonable to resort to the help of the assistant.


5. Carefully wipe a flywheel, having completely removed from it oil and greasing traces. Check a working surface of a flywheel on existence of cracks, the furrows left heads of rivets of a frictional disk of coupling, traces of an overheat and задиров. Minor defects can be eliminated by means of a fine-grained emery paper. Check a gear wreath on existence of cracks and chips of teeths. Lay a flywheel on a flat surface for the purpose of an assessment of its planeness (use a planeness measuring instrument).
6. Wipe interfaced surfaces of a flywheel / a driving disk and a cranked shaft. If signs of leakages of oil through a back epiploon of a cranked shaft take place, make its replacement (see. Replacement of a back epiploon of a cranked shaft).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a flywheel / a driving disk on a cranked shaft.

On some engines the directing pin is provided, or fixing openings are located asymmetrically that guarantees unambiguity of landing of a detail. Before rolling fixing bolts, grease from a carving part with fixing hermetic.


2. Having blocked a flywheel / a driving disk from a provorachivaniye (see paragraph 3), tighten fixing bolts with demanded effort in a diagonal order.
3. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to a dismantle order.
