Removal, check of a condition and installation of the oil pump

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a belt of a drive of GRM (see. Removal, check of a condition and installation of a gas-distributing belt and cogwheels of a drive of GRM).
2. Remove the pallet of a case of the engine (see. Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine).

3. Disconnect assembly of a maslozabornik with a grid and a tube from the bridge of covers of radical bearings and the pump case (see an accompanying illustration).

4. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the oil pump from the engine (see an accompanying illustration).

5. Turn out fixing screws and remove from the pump a cover (see an accompanying illustration).

Not to break a shlitsa in heads of fixing screws their easing it is better to make by means of a shock screw-driver.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1a. Measure an axial gap of gear wheels of the pump (see accompanying illustrations).

1b. Measure a gap between tops of teeths of gear wheels.

1c. Measure a gap between an external gear wheel and the case. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. If the size of gaps falls outside the limits admissible values, replace the pump.

2. Turn out a stopper of the reduktsionny valve and take from a nest in the pump case a spring and a plunzher of the valve. Check a spring on existence of deformations, and a plunzher – on existence of scratches and задиров. Defective components are subject to replacement.
3. Establish gear wheels in the case of the pump and fill cavities between teeths technical vaseline.
4. Grease screws of fastening of a cover of the pump with anti-taking hermetic. Establish a cover, screw screws and tighten them with demanded effort. Establish in the pump case a spring and a plunzher of the reduktsionny valve. Having replaced a sealing washer, screw a stopper and strongly tighten it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Slightly grease with anaerobny hermetic a surface of the case of the pump interfaced to the block and enclosed in a flute in the case a new sealing ring. Establish the pump on the block and with demanded effort tighten fixing bolts.
2. Establish into place assembly of a maslozabornik, having tightened fixing bolts with demanded effort (do not forget to replace sealing laying).
3. Establish the case pallet (see. Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine).
4. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to a dismantle order. In summary do not forget to fill in in the engine engine oil and to fill cooling system (see. Head Routine maintenance).
5. Start the engine and check it on existence of signs of leaks.
